If I havent made a pudding for a dinner party, or its been a disaster one of the best alternatives is making a cup of wonderfully strong coffee and putting a tablespoon or two over some rich good quality vanilla ice cream. Best served in a coffee cup with some shortbread or after dinner mints on the side!
